Zain Ahmad - Conference Lead
Hi, I’m Zain. I’m a 3rd year medical student. I’m not completely set on a surgical career. I have decided to take on this role to learn more about surgery, network with surgeons/students and take on an interesting project. The main surgical speciality that interests me is orthopaedic surgery. Outside of medicine, I like to write for my blog, read philosophy and I am interested in business too.
I’m looking forward to creating a conference everyone can enjoy. I aim to improve our attendance from around 90 attendees last year to at least 100. I would also like to ensure the conference covers most or all of the surgical specialities. I want to help as many students in deciding whether surgery is the right career for them!
