Lifebox Foundation is an international NGO which aims to make surgery and anaesthesia in low-resource settings as safe as possible. Working with local healthcare providers we deliver training and medical equipment, starting with pulse oximeters, to ORs in need throughout Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Lifebox this year’s official ExeSS charity.

Since Lifebox was founded in 2011, we’ve distributed over 14,000 pulse oximeters and trained anaesthesia providers in basic, life-saving safety checks, making surgery safe for an estimated 10 million people worldwide.
